Bridal Bouquets
For the best bridal bouquet inspiration, there is no substitute for feasting your eyes on our gallery of beautiful bridal bouquet images!
Our professional team can help you choose the right arrangement for your special day. Every bride has her own special style and taste. No two brides, no two weddings or floral arrangements are the same. We pay attention to every detail and consider every aspect of the event when creating our designs. Every design is one of a kind and created especially for each event.
Keep in mind your body size and height, as you will not want a large flowing bouquet if you are very slim or petite. It will just exaggerate you. Same goes if you are voluptuous or tall. Choose something that keeps your overall look in balance.
We love combining striking colors, rich textures, lingering scents, and inspired design to create the perfect bouquets for every wedding and special event!

Different Types of Bouquets Include:
- Nosegay: A small, round cluster of flowers, all cut to a uniform length. Usually created with one dominant flower or color, they can be wrapped tightly with ribbon or lace for a delicate effect.
- Beidermeier: A nosegay made up of concentric circles of different flowers for a striped effect.
- Cascade: A waterfall-like train of blooms and greenery that’s anchored in a hand-held base.
- Classic Hand-tied Bouquet: A dense bunch of blooms either anchored in a bouquet holder, wired, or hand-tied.
- Composite: A creation in which different petals or buds are wired together on a single stem, creating a look of a single giant flower.
- Pomander: A covered ball covered in blooms strung from a ribbon, perfect for child attendants.
Vintage Inspiration
Popular shows such as “Downton Abbey” and the film adaptation of “The Great Gatsby,” have spawned an ongoing trend of Vintage Wedding themes. The look is timeless and romantic. It is also a theme that is easy to incorporate with more modern accessories and settings. The Yacht Club at Marina Shores offers three different room options for wedding receptions. The upstairs Yacht Club room offers a more traditional decor, which lends itself well to ‘vintage’, ‘shabby chic’ and even ‘rustic’ themes.
Ideas to implement your Vintage Inspired Wedding Theme:
- Talk to your florist about incorporating antique looking buttons, a brooch and a mix of flowers with them in your bouquet
- Opt for a handmade tiara/headpiece for your hair. Etsy has many unique headpieces that would be perfect for a classic theme
- Find decade appropriate jewelery to compliment your theme. Again, Etsy is a good place to begin your search.
- Incorporate lace in your wedding dress. The more lace, the better. Cap-sleeves, long-sleeves or even halter necklines are more traditional vintage than a strapless, however, you can still have a strapless dress with vintage flair (lace, ribbon, vintage headpiece).
- Hire a traditional vintage car to take you to your venue or even a Horse & Carriage
- Common vintage elements include birdcages, floral patterns, rose gold, pale blues, pinks, whites, oranges, old photos of relatives, lace, black and white photos, buttons, brooches, pearls, antique-finish.

26 Years of Floral Design
Flowers are perhaps the most beautiful form of living art. Although many may harbor the preconceived notion that flowers are only a temporary expression of emotion, the devotion and time involved in creating unique and individual pieces is an art within itself.
Flowers serve the purpose to convey emotions that often times cannot be communicated by existing impediments. Many may perceive that floral design as simple and surface, but the art of flower arranging is one that is comprised of much creative energy and focused attention not only to harmony between blooms, but also to the complementary nature of the thoughts being communicated. It may be established as an age old practice, but sending flowers can make your emotions good and bad just flow at life’s celebrations like weddings and social functions.
Over the past 26 years I have instilled in people who work with me how one single design can impact the total perception of the client. Details are so very important. At Black Iris we are always evolving with nature.
We are constantly creating new styles with modern twists or interesting new components. Our creative energies are focused on developing arrangements that speak volumes both in terms of emotion and unique style. Putting a new spin on simple ideas can make for an exciting especially
unique piece that breaks free from the predictable. What better way to tell someone you care by creating vibrant, living art as a testament of your personal affections?
